The Haven Hotel

The Haven comprises of 38 spacious en-suite chalets scattered within a tranquil, garden-like environment, right at the mouth of the Mbashe river, in the heart of the Cwebe Nature Reserve.
Sea Facing Chalets- There are 6 double roomed, and 1 single room chalet. all bedrooms are en-suite, the main bedrooms have king size beds and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. All bathrooms have corner baths and showers. The units have their own verandas and patio sets.
Garden Cottages- There are 6 double room, en-suite chalets and 5 Xhosa styled rondavels. 2 have interleading doors, suitable for families with small children. All rooms are en-suite and have either a queen size bed or 2 single beds.
Rustic Cottages- have 2 bedrooms and a single, full bathroom. Adjoined to them are 5 en-suite rooms with full bathrooms. Rooms have either queen size beds or 2 single beds. There are also 3 Xhosa Rondavels, all en-suite, with showers.
The hotel and surrounds are a kids paradise. There is a jungle gym, swings, sandpit and trampoline situated in front of the hotel, close to the games room with table tennis and a choice of board games. Next to the swimming pool is a pool table, and our 40m slippery slide is a major attraction to guests of all ages. Canoes are available for guest use on the river in the estuary, and if you need, babysitting can be arranged. A “rustic” nine hole chip and put mashie golf course has been created, with hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, and 4x4ing amongst just some other activities to choose from.
